Gijón's Aquarium overlooks the sea at Cervigón point, next to El Arbeyal beach. It walks you through the world's aquatic ecosystems, from Asturian rivers to tropical seas, on a route designed for all ages.

Sharks, octopuses, reef fish and an underwater tunnel make it a perfect plan with kids or for a rainy day. Booking ahead is wise in high season.
