Día del Desarme is Oviedo's great food festival, a Festival of National Tourist Interest since 2025. From 15 to 25 October, restaurants serve the Desarme Menu: chickpeas with spinach and cod, Oviedo-style tripe and rice pudding for dessert. The Bocado Days add tapas made with the menu's ingredients, and Plaza de Trascorrales is the heart of the celebration.
