Taller familiar: cocina con la huerta de temporada

The Jardín Botánico Atlántico in Gijón is running a new Family Workshop: cooking with the seasonal vegetable garden, designed for families to enjoy a morning among vegetable beds and stovetops together. The activity invites children and adults to discover where seasonal produce comes from and to cook a simple recipe together using whatever the garden's own vegetable patch is offering at that moment.
A hands-on, participatory plan through which families get a close-up introduction to healthy eating habits and the growing cycle of local vegetables, part of the Botanical Garden's regular educational programme. Places are usually limited and require prior booking.
A date for the whole family, priced at 6 euros per person, on Sunday 29 November at 11:30 at the Jardín Botánico Atlántico in Gijón.
