We're offering a free guided tour of Gauzón Castle, on Peñón de Raíces (Castrillón), one of the most important early medieval sites in Asturias and, according to tradition, the place where King Alfonso III was proclaimed. The tour covers the history of the site and its archaeological finds with a local guide. It runs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; spots are limited and booking ahead is required by calling 646 846 108.
