El poblamiento prehistórico en el valle del sella
📍 Centro de Arte Rupestre Tito Bustillo, Ribadesella · View on map
The Tito Bustillo Rock Art Centre in Ribadesella devotes this exhibition to human occupation of the Sella valley during prehistory, one of the key areas for understanding how northern Spain was first settled. It reviews the main sites and finds in the area, from caves with rock art to open-air settlements.
Alongside the objects and archaeological evidence, the exhibition also traces the history of the research itself: generations of archaeologists who, since the early 20th century, have pieced together how our ancestors lived here. A recommended stop for anyone who wants to go beyond a simple visit to the nearby caves.
