LABoral Centro de Arte opens its Obra Invitada programme with Cambiantes, by Brazilian artist and dancer Analivia Cordeiro, considered a landmark work in the history of video art and video dance. The piece rethinks the language of dance through her own movement notation system, Nota Anna, later developed via experimental computer software, establishing a pioneering dialogue between body, moving image and technology.
Cordeiro, a key figure in the development of video art in Brazil, follows in the wake of neo-concrete art and connects with the transformations of modern dance of her time. The show can be visited Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 11 am to 7:30 pm, free admission, until March 27, 2027.
