The Centro Municipal Integrado El Llano hosts another classic film session organised by the Sociedad Cultural Gijonesa, this time screening 'Gaslight' ('Luz que agoniza'). The film takes us to Victorian England, where a famous opera singer is murdered and the case is never solved; her young niece, who lived with her, is sent to Italy, where she studies singing and marries her teacher's accompanist pianist. After their honeymoon, the couple moves into the murdered singer's old house, and there the young woman starts noticing strange, unexplained noises as the gas light dims. The screening, in the original version with Spanish subtitles, will take place in the centre's auditorium. We recommend this session to fans of classic cinema and suspense: admission is free until the room is full, on 25 September at 7 pm.
