Sociedad Cultural Gijonesa screens "Shanghai Express" at the Centro Municipal Integrado El Llano, a film classic following Lily, an adventuress with a notorious reputation, as she unexpectedly crosses paths with a former lover, Captain Donald Harvey, aboard a train bound for Shanghai. The journey turns tense when Chinese rebels seize the train and take the captain hostage, in a plot that blends romance, intrigue and adventure among passengers of very different backgrounds.

The screening is in its original version with Spanish subtitles, in the centre's assembly hall. It takes place on 2 October at 19:00, with free entry until the room reaches capacity.
