Un paseo con Jovellanos is a guided walk through several emblematic spots in Gijón where the mark of the Enlightenment thinker Jovellanos is still visible: the plans he drew up for the town, its later urban and industrial development into the 20th century, and the recovery of that post-industrial fabric that we now enjoy as residents and visitors. The 90-minute route, limited to 25 people, starts at the Museo Casa Natal de Jovellanos and is free, though booking ahead is recommended.
