At the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto we present Un año de rutina creativa (A Year of Creative Routine), Clemente Javier Díaz Roiz's project that turns the passing of time into painting: one layer each day, one gesture added to the last, until the present is built over the past as pictorial matter.
The show brings together twelve images, one for each month of the year, capturing significant moments of that daily creative process, later transformed into painting. As the project itself puts it, it is a year of gestures: twelve captured instants building a memory day by day.
We recommend this visit to anyone interested in contemporary art and creative processes sustained over time. The exhibition, organised by the Fundación Municipal de Cultura, Educación y Universidad Popular (FMCYUP), runs from 11 to 27 September 2026, Monday to Friday 17:30-20:30, Saturday mornings too, and Sundays and public holidays 12:00-14:00.
