Temporada de Ópera 2026/27

Oviedo's Teatro Campoamor opens its 79th Opera Season, running from September 2026 to February 2027 with five titles from the international repertoire performed by top-level casts. The programme opens with Sorrow, combining Mahler's Kindertotenlieder with Puccini's Suor Angelica, and continues with Donizetti's Maria Stuarda, set around the rivalry between Elizabeth I and Mary Stuart; Verdi's Macbeth, based on Shakespeare's tragedy; Puccini's Manon Lescaut, a fatal love story echoing Tristan and Isolde; and closes with Mozart's Così fan tutte, his last comic opera.
