Manon Lescaut, by Giacomo Puccini, comes to Oviedo's Teatro Campoamor as part of the 79th Opera Season.

Based on François Prévost's novel, it tells of the fatal love between young Manon and the student Des Grieux, driven by passion and by her ambition towards a tragic ending that Ópera de Oviedo itself likens to the echoes of Tristan and Isolde.

We recommend this performance to lovers of the great Puccini repertoire: five performances in December at the Teatro Campoamor.
