Taller de cometas del festival parees

The Parees festival takes street art off the wall and into the air with a handmade kite workshop. The session starts from the graphic world of Maite Rosende, the artist behind one of this edition's murals, and translates her shapes and colours into something that actually flies.
Over two hours participants design, assemble and balance their kites while picking up the basics of aerodynamics and of working with lightweight materials. Wenyuri leads the session, conceived as an intergenerational meeting point: there are twenty places for participants aged ten and over, so it works well with teenagers or as a family.
The festival has not yet confirmed the exact venue, which it announces on its website along with the other side activities. Booking ahead is advisable, as places are limited.
