An informative talk promoting sea awareness, accident prevention and safe enjoyment of Gijón’s beaches, on Saturday 10 October at the L'Arena community centre. It is given by Jonan Etxebarria, a rescue specialist and author of «Socorrismo para surfistas», and is open to surfers and anyone interested in water sports. Admission is free until the 150 seats are taken. It is not a technical training course and does not qualify anyone for rescue work.
