Salim mzé hamadi + oulouy. "Jam session de danzas del océano índico y danzas urbanas afro"
📍 PLAZA MAYOR · View on map
Two worlds of African urban and contemporary dance meet at Gijón's Plaza Mayor, alongside the craft and organic market, turning the public space into a place of celebration, connection and collective expression. Dancers Oulouy and Salim Mzé Hamadi share their languages and experiences in a session open to spontaneous audience participation, from the energy of afrohouse, ndombolo, coupé-décalé, amapiano and azonto to exploring the body's relationship with the ground, the earth, the horizon and the sky.
Audiences can join in spontaneously, though prior registration is recommended to guarantee a spot: in case of rain, the activity moves to the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto and, due to limited capacity, only registered participants will be able to join. An open invitation for all audiences to let themselves be carried away by the rhythm.
