A walking route through Gijón inviting participants to see the city with fresh eyes, dwelling on the small stories behind its buildings: architectural styles from modernism to rationalism and 1960s-70s development, and the social and economic forces that shaped the town's urban and rural layout.

Part of the "Rutas Urbanas, explorando Xixón y sus edificios" project, devised and led by a geographer specialising in the city. It starts at the Kiosco de la Música in Paseo de Begoña and no prior booking is needed.
