📍 Bolera de La Camocha · View on map

As part of Danza Xixón 2026, La Camocha's Bolera hosts the presentation of the project Una vida en danza, with a showcase by students from Gijón's Conservatorio Profesional de Música y Danza. The initiative brings the performing arts of movement to the city's senior centres.

In this second edition, the project includes a multi-day mediation process in which the older participants themselves take centre stage: sharing, creating and dancing together, coordinated by choreographer and performer Ana Lola Cosín, with support from the Fundación Municipal de Servicios Sociales and staff from the social centres, day centres and residences involved. Admission is free until the venue reaches capacity.
