Premios Princesa de Asturias: ceremonia de entrega

On Friday 23 October, at 6:30 PM, the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo hosts the 2026 Princess of Asturias Awards ceremony, presided over by the King and Queen of Spain with Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía in attendance. It is the central event of the whole week and the one with the greatest international reach: each laureate receives a sculpture created by Joan Miró, in categories such as the Arts, Letters, Sports, Scientific and Technical Research, International Cooperation, Communication and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Concord.

The ceremony is preceded, the night before, by the Foundation's traditional concert at the Auditorio Príncipe Felipe, and followed, the next day, by the Exemplary Town of Asturias award in Llanes.
