The Organic and Craft Market returns to Gijón's Plaza Mayor on Sunday 11 October, organised by Xixón's Asturian Language Office. This edition centres on Xosefa Xovellanos and other Asturian women writers.

At 12:30, Xosefa Xovellanos walks around the market talking about her life and work; at 13:00, a poetry recital by Mercedes Ruisánchez. There are children's workshops and activities from 12:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00, and at 18:00 a storytelling session with Sergio Buelga, no prior registration needed.
