María moreno. "Magnificat"

📍 Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto · View on map

María Moreno presents Magnificat at the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto. Flamenco is her mother tongue, the vehicle through which she carries out her poetic and scenic research: for her, it's a way of questioning and exploring the issues that matter to her. Magnificat lets her delve into bodies overtaken by joy, into what happens when we gather to celebrate, when we meet loved ones and delight bursts forth as an uncontrollable force.

Artistic direction and choreography by María Moreno, with Irene Tena and Albert Hernández performing. An hour-long show followed by a meet-the-company session at La Danzatería. General admission €3, reduced €1.50 for under-31s at the box office.
