On Sunday 20 September, Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura throws open its doors for a free open day for all ages, from 10:30 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.
The programme includes guided tours of spaces such as the Jovellanos Faculty library, the CIFP La Laboral workshops, the Painting Hall (afternoons only), the Tower Lookout and the old kitchens and laundry. At LABoral Centro de Arte, visitors can freely explore the exhibitions "La Sociedad Automática", by Félix Luque Sánchez, and "La ciudad que somos", on geographer David Alonso's Rutas Urbanas project.
For families there are traditional games in Plaza de la Laboral, the magic show "Wanted: se busca mag@" by Mago Martín in the Paraninfo, the puppet and clown show "Esto es un poema" in the Laboral Theatre, workshops such as "Una cúpula elíptica", plus visits to the RTPA studios and a vermouth session on the Patioh! terrace. Several of these activities have limited capacity and require picking up a free invitation in advance.
