Cine y Salud Mental: "Lollipop", con su directora Daisy-May Hudson

The "Imagínate" cycle, now in its third edition of Cine y Salud Mental in Mieres, screens "Lollipop", by British director Daisy-May Hudson, who will attend for a Q&A with the audience after the film. The story follows a mother fighting to win back custody of her children against a social system that keeps putting up obstacles, with a realistic look at the anxiety and emotional toll of a mother-child separation.
This year's "Imagínate" cycle brings together five films from different countries to reflect on how bonds, family and environment can either protect or make our mental health more vulnerable; this screening of "Lollipop" is also its Spanish premiere.
The screening takes place on Wednesday 30 September at 6 PM, at the Auditoriu of Casa de Cultura Teodoro Cuesta, with free admission until the venue is full.
