Teatro Jovellanos hosts the second edition of Danza Xixón's choreographic lab, an activity run with dance schools and academies across Asturias to build connections between leading dance figures and regional students over 16. Guided by a prominent figure in the field, participants create a short choreographic showcase presented on October 25 at the Danzódromo, Danza Xixón's closing party.

This edition is led by Yoshua Cienfuegos, choreographer, teacher and director of CienfuegosDanza since 1999, with over 35 stage productions and awarded for a career spanning more than 25 years. He is currently part of the choreographic composition teaching staff at Madrid's Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila. The lab runs from October 23 to 25 in the theatre's rehearsal room.
