La Danzatería, at the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto, hosts three independent hands-on training sessions around the Danza Xixón 2026 programme, led by Yolanda Vázquez, a graduate in Information Sciences and researcher in classical, neoclassical-contemporary and flamenco dance. The first session, on Friday October 2, sums up what audiences will see on stage at this year's festival.
The second session, on Sunday the 4th, covers the basics of contemporary dance with a dancer on hand, and the third, on Thursday the 8th, takes a hands-on look at one specific work from the programme. Three sessions designed to bring audiences, with or without prior experience, closer to the heart of the festival.
