The Museo Casa Natal de Jovellanos hosts the performance «Herida de espejo con tijera» by artist Teresa Correa on 15 October 2026 at 6:30 PM. It's the second of three actions in the Visión y Presencia cycle, organised by LABoral Centro de Arte together with the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza and led by women artists. Drawing on her experience as a breast cancer survivor, Correa cuts a paper dress in front of the sculpture «No sabemos cuándo va a comenzar» (1974) by José María Navascués, questioning which bodies the museum chooses to display and the aesthetic canon that underpins its galleries. A brief but intense piece, free to attend, for anyone looking for something different on Gijón's cultural calendar.
