An English-language walking tour of Oviedo's historic centre, run by Visitas Guiadas Gozón as a "free tour": booking costs nothing, and at the end you pay whatever you feel the experience was worth. The route starts by the statue of Alfonso II, near the Cathedral, and winds through the medieval streets of the old town, covering the city's history as a market town, some of its more colourful characters, and a few of its best-known festivities and traditions. It lasts around two and a half hours and is aimed at first-time visitors who'd rather have the tour in English.
