Screening of the Asturian feature film "Xy9" by David Huergo (2024, 65 minutes), part of the Arcu de Cine Xixón within the Arcu Atlánticu Festival. The film follows Mar, an advertising executive stuck in the same job for ten years, and Iván, an aspiring writer living off Mar's income, as they try to have their first child. After exhausting natural options, they turn to IVF, and repeated failed attempts strain the relationship just as a work promotion collides with their dream of becoming parents. The screening is free, with entry on a first-come basis, at the Escuela de Comercio auditorium.
