Danza vertical. GEURE(r)a, harrobi dantza bertikala

The Arcu Atlánticu Festival brings vertical dance to the Torre del Reloj (clock tower) in Cimavilla, with 'Geure(R)a', by the Basque company Harrobi Dantza Bertikala, founded in 2020 by Janire Etxabe in Dima (Biscay). The piece combines dance performed hanging from the façade, poetry and videomapping to recreate women gathering throughout history: moments when they came together not only for daily chores, but to share knowledge, care for one another and enjoy each other's company. 'Geure(R)a' was a finalist at the 2024 MAX Awards, received an honourable mention at Leioa's Umore Azoka, and has toured festivals including Kalealdia (Bilbao) and Pedra Viva (Menorca).
