Gijón once again turns its streets into a huge open-air exhibition with the Mural Route, a selection of urban art pieces inviting you to explore different corners of the city and see it in a new light. The project brings together work by several artists, some of whom created their murals together with local residents.
It's an open, welcoming proposal in constant dialogue with its surroundings, one that has become part of Gijón's everyday landscape and can be walked at any time of day, with the family or on your own. Extended information on each mural and its author is available on the City Council's website.
The route can be visited from 8 to 30 October, with free access at any time.
