Exposición «Momentos»: 50 años de historia en 50 fotografías

The Naval Azul promenade, in Gijón's west end, debuts as an open-air exhibition space with “Momentos”, the show marking the 50th anniversary of Spanish newspaper El País. Fifty historic photographs walk you through five decades of Spain and the world, from the transition to democracy to climate change. Five of the images star Gijón itself, including the mass cider-pouring on Poniente beach in August 2006. Curated by photojournalist Marisa Flórez, the exhibition is free to visit on a simple stroll until the end of July.
