Documentary photographer Roberto Palomo, from Badajoz, exhibits at Mieres Centru Cultural a project spanning more than four years dedicated to uncovering the story of his great-grandfather, who disappeared in August 1936 at the start of the Spanish Civil War, and how his grandmothers recovered his remains 87 years later. Curated by Natalia Garcés, the show brings together over thirty pieces including municipal and military archives, historical photographs, objects and testimonies from the protagonists, Silvestra and María. The opening is attended by the artist. Free entry.
