Diálogo: refugios climáticos como espacios de democracia

As part of the Climate Biennial, Avilés' Factoría Cultural hosts an open dialogue on climate shelters: spaces designed not only to protect people from extreme heat, but also to strengthen community life and democratic practice in neighbourhoods.
Moderated by Carmina Gustrán, the session brings together anthropologist and ecofeminist activist Yayo Herrero, researcher and editor Amador Fernández Savater, and sociologist Paula Jiménez Argumosa, alongside representatives from Spain's Ministry for Ecological Transition. The format is built around concentric circles: the main speakers sit at the centre, and the rest of the audience joins in afterwards with their own contributions.
Free admission with prior booking; capacity is limited to around 40 people.
