The Factoría Cultural in Avilés hosts this intergenerational dialogue on climate activism, part of the Bienal Climática's programme on democratic coexistence. The session brings together figures from Spain's historic environmental movement, such as Paca Blanco, founder of Ecologistas en Acción, alongside voices from newer youth-led mobilisations, to explore what has changed — and what hasn't — in the ways environmental activism organises and argues its case.
Moderated by Mario Juárez of Ecoinsomnes, it's less a debate than an exercise in cross-generational listening: what each generation can learn from the other when they share the same sense of climate urgency but experience it through different tools and timelines. Admission is free, with advance ticket booking.
