On 15 August 2026, Iniciativa pol Asturianu celebrates the fifth edition of the Día de la Llingua Asturiana (Asturian Language Day) at the Feria Internacional de Muestras de Asturias (FIDMA). The organisation, which turns 15 this year and is marking its eighth consecutive year at the fair, is unveiling a bigger, brighter stand located in pavilion 3-4, opposite the Pabellón Central of the fairground. The space brings together fifteen Asturian companies and brands from sectors such as industry, agri-food, publishing, audiovisual, crafts and new technologies, all committed to using the Asturian language in their activity. The stand stays open throughout the fair as a meeting point for promoting the Asturian language in social, economic and business life.
