Danza, dignidad y encuentro: espectáculo de danza camboyana

The NGO SAUCE (Solidaridad, Ayuda y Unión Crean Esperanza), linked to Gijón since it was founded, marks 25 years of work in Cambodia by bringing a Cambodian dance tour to Spain that opens at Teatro Jovellanos. The show brings together 33 young dancers and musicians from the Tahen Traditional Dance School, blending dance, live music and tradition to share Cambodia's cultural richness with audiences.

They'll be joined by Gijón-born Jesuit Monsignor Enrique Figaredo "Kike", Bishop of Battambang and the man behind the educational and healthcare projects SAUCE funds in the country. Ticket sales support SAUCE's new project in Cambodia, led by a young doctor of Asturian descent, with 100% of proceeds going to it.
