The "Diverso Gijón" choir, promoted by the Municipal Office for Information to Immigrants (OMII), reopens its sign-up period in September for anyone who wants to join this open, inclusive choral project. Singing together helps improve vocal technique and, above all, is a great way to meet people and build community through music. The choir rehearses on Saturday mornings, from 11am to 1pm, at the Equipamiento Social del Natahoyo (Avenida de Moreda, 11). The activity is free and has 50 places; once they're full, new sign-ups go on a waiting list and are notified by email or text when a spot opens up.
