CometCon, Asturias' big comic, manga, video game and pop culture convention, holds its 2026 edition on 4, 5 and 6 September at Gijón's Luis Adaro fairground. Opening hours: Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 10pm, Sunday from 12pm to 8pm. The programme gathers guests, contests (including the ever-spectacular cosplay), a gaming zone, an artist alley and a large trading area. Advance tickets come discounted: day tickets at 6.50 euros (9.50 at the door) and a three-day pass with re-entry allowed for 25 euros; children under 5 go free. Note: the day ticket is a single pass — if you leave the venue, you will need a new one.
