A shuttle bus takes us comfortably to the Roman Villa of Veranes, Gijón's lesser-known Roman heritage site, for a guided tour of its archaeological remains. The service runs on summer Thursdays and Fridays, with departures from 5pm to 7.30pm, from 2 July to 4 September 2026. A simple way to learn about Roman rural life in Asturias without worrying about transport or parking, guided by an expert who'll walk us through the site's history.
