Acto de reconocimiento y reparación a constantino suárez

Gijón pays tribute to Constantino Suárez, the Gijón photographer whom Franco's regime barred from his profession from 1937 and who was officially recognised this summer as a victim of that repression. The act of recognition and reparation takes place on Saturday 3 October at 12:00 in the El Coto park that bears his name.

It is organised by Asturian photojournalists, and the family will be handed the Ministry's resolution. Representatives of public bodies and cultural and social organisations are expected to attend.
