The Cares Route, the 'divine gorge', is the most famous hike in the Picos de Europa. It follows a path carved into the rock above the Cares river canyon, between Asturias and León.
It's about 5 hours round trip (12 km each way) with little ascent but some exposed sections. You can walk one way and take a taxi back.
