The heart of the seafront: moored sailboats, the statue of Pelayo and the Revillagigedo Palace behind. The meeting point between Cimavilla and the centre.

Calle Corrida
Gijón's main pedestrian street, to finish the route with shops and cafés. It links the harbour with Plaza del Instituto, in the heart of the open-air shopping district.

Gijón's other seafront —quieter and more family-friendly: Poniente beach, the Aquarium and the marina, with the centre a step away. Flat and right by the water. Tap a number to see each stop.

Is it a good route with kids?
Yes, one of the best: flat, by the sea, with the Aquarium and the calm-water Poniente beach as big draws for little ones. Almost all of it runs along a pedestrian promenade.
How does it differ from San Lorenzo beach?
San Lorenzo is the big open urban beach with waves, east of Cimavilla. Poniente is smaller and sheltered, with imported sand and calm water, to the west. This route covers that quieter western side.
