On Thursday 12 November at 19:30, the Centro Polivalente Integrado in Lugones hosts the launch of «Olalies», a historical novel by J. Ángel Menéndez Díaz. The author will be there and Ramón Rodríguez, director of the RIDEA, will introduce it.
The story begins after the Muslim defeat at Covadonga: governor Munuza flees Gegione southwards and is killed with his men at a place called Olalies, whose location was lost. In Lugones, by the river Nora, Nicer and Malia grow up among tributes and soldiers when Pelayo’s revolt breaks out. Free entry until the room is full.
