📍 Mieres · View on map
FIASCO turns ten with a motto that leaves no doubt: "Make humour, not war". From 5 to 8 November, Mieres brings together writers, comedians, journalists and artists for four days that defend humour as a refuge and a critical tool. All activities are free, with open access until capacity is reached.
Thursday 5 features writer Mónica Rodríguez meeting students, a Radio Diversa Activa session with Aitana Castaño and a "Vis a Vis" between comedians Asaari Bibang and Dianela Padrón. Friday 6 includes an activity by Clowntigo, the ONCE workshop "Beyond Sight: Braille with Humour" and the launch of the novel "Corderito" by Yunez Chaib. On Saturday 7 philosopher Juan Ponte and photojournalist Álex Zapico (presenting "Aprendiendo a mirar") take the stage, and the night closes with the show "Inteligencia Artificial (AY)" by Jerónimo Granda and Maxi Rodríguez. On Sunday 8 the festival bows out with music and film.
