Smile come to the Las Mestas Sports Complex in Gijón to showcase their bright indie folk sound. Formed in Getxo, the band debuted in 2007 with "Painting the Sun One Colour," and their single "Happy People" put them on the map, sharing bills with Wilco, The Waterboys and Sunday Drivers. Albums such as "All Roads Lead to the Shore" and "Happy Accidents" built a sound that blends West Coast roots with nods to classic rock, and their latest record, "Rayo Verde," even ventures into Spanish-language songwriting.
