Paseo de Begoña hosts a free concert by Negra Flor on 26 August at 8pm, as part of Gijón's Arte en la Calle programme. Negra Flor is a Gijón band formed in 2017, made up of two guitars (one of them also on lead vocals), bass and drums. They started out as a Radio Futura tribute act, but today they perform their own live set built on covers of Spanish indie and rock that get the crowd singing and dancing. It's a free open-air event right in the centre of Gijón, a great way to enjoy a tour through Spanish indie and rock on a summer evening, no ticket needed.
