The Paraninfo at Laboral screens Aro berria, the debut feature by director Irati Gorostidi Agirretxe, which premiered in the New Directors section at the San Sebastián Film Festival, where it received a special jury mention. Set in Donostia in 1978, the film follows factory workers who debate a strike over water meters that ultimately fails to take off; disillusioned, some of the more radical among them leave the factory and join an isolated mountain community, where a group of young people embarks on an intense personal search through shared experiences.
