This route follows the coast eastwards from the end of San Lorenzo, along the Cervigón path, to the Providencia viewpoint perched on the cliffs.
The views over the whole bay of Gijón are spectacular. A slightly longer coastal walk, ideal for a morning.

- It takes its name from the Providencia chapel, perched over the cliffs at the city's eastern edge.
- From the cliff you take in the whole bay of Gijón, with the city and San Lorenzo in the distance.
