📍 Centro Municipal Integrado El Coto · View on map

The Centro Municipal Integrado El Coto hosts the celebration marking 25 years of the Escuela de Segunda Oportunidad, a project that has offered young people in Gijón an alternative path to education for a quarter of a century when the conventional school system hasn't been the right fit.

The programme looks back at the school's origins and the different stages and generations it has gone through, with video screenings, talks between students and staff, participatory activities and testimonials from people who have gone through the project. It takes place on 30 September, from 9am to 2pm.
