Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura hosts the 23rd Gijón Photography Meetings, a well-established event bringing together talks, workshops, exhibitions, book launches and awards centred on photography. The programme also includes portfolio reviews and the New Talent Grants, designed to support the work of up-and-coming photographers. While the full edition runs from 26 to 29 November, activities at Laboral are concentrated on 28 and 29 November, in a setting designed to share a passion for images among professionals and enthusiasts alike.
