Taller en familia: Agua, de Edward Burtynsky
📍 Centro Niemeyer, Avilés · View on map
Edward Burtynsky photographs water from above: salt flats, reservoirs, farmland and coastlines reshaped by human hands. This workshop is a chance to walk through that exhibition with children alongside you, letting them decide what catches their eye.
Run by Cuéntame un cuadro, the session opens with a guided tour pitched at younger visitors, looking at some of the show's most striking images and talking about water, landscape and the way we alter our surroundings. Then comes the making: a hands-on art workshop where each family produces its own take on what they have just seen.
There is no right or wrong result — the point is to try out materials, imagine and play with artistic languages. It lasts around an hour, with a reduced rate for Club Cultura members.
